主要研究植物(树木)根-冠关系,基于胁迫的根系构型及其生理生态响应机理,植物地上-根系-土壤-微生物碳氮分配规律。发现香樟等植物的根-冠反向构型关系,发表二区期刊论文6篇,在Canadian Journal of Forest Research刊发综述性论文。
